Cardmaking 101: Every month come in to make 3 basic cards and receive supplies to make a 4th for homework. Bring your homework back the following month for a chance to win a $5 gift certificate! Sample different techniques each month, and fun swapping ideas with other students! You have your choice of coming in the last sunday or wednesday of each month. Please bring your own adhesive.

Twinkling h2O’s: Make a stunning colorful card for spring featuring two birds and their nest surrounded by flowers. this card will be made using twinkling h2o’s shimmering watercolors, water pens, heat embossing, and stickles glitter glue. Please bring your own adhesive.

Dreamweaver Stenciling Techniques: Explore a world of possibilities with metal stencils. We’ll make four cards using different techniques including: wet embossing, glitter application to jac paper, scratch detailing, misting, paste over stippled ink, and more. Please bring your own adhesive.

3D Daisy Glitter Card: Make a gorgeous dimentional card with lots of sparkle using a daisies flower stamp by holly berry house designs, fine glitter, scissors, pop dots, and watercolor pencils. You may bring your own scissors for detail cutting if you prefer, but scissors will be provided for your use. Please bring your own adhesive.

Sewing/Quilting Workshops

Dorothy will be here to help you with all your sewing problems and questions. She will teach beginners the basics for sewing or quilting. Do you know the basics, but are now ready for the next step in a new project and don’t know what to do. This is the workshop for you. Or come to socialize and work on your project. Sign up before class day is a must, the instructor only comes when there is a paid student.
Beginner Quilt Sampler Class

Learn to quit from start to finish in this class. Dorothy will be teaching this class using “Make your first Quilt with M’Liss Rae Hawley” book. The journey of making your own quilt will be most satisfying with the techniques you will learn in these classes. You will complete a four block wall hanging in this wonderful class.
Thursday Night Knitting
Teacher: Georgia Every Thursday 6:00—8:00 Fee: $10.00 weekly + supplies.
This weekly knitting class is a great beginners or advanced class. New knitters get to watch advanced knitters with their projects and it is a fun social aspect to knitting in a group. A beginner usually takes 3 or 4 sessions to be comfortable with knitting on their own. Make it a friends night out. Signing up before class day is a must. The instructor only comes if there are paid students each week.
Tuesday Night Crochet
Teacher: Lawanda Every Tue. 5:30—7:30 Fee: $10.00 per session + supplies
Lawanda will be here to work with the person that wants to learn how to crochet, or the person that knows the basics and wants to work on a project but doesn’t know how to read a pattern. Hannah’s has a large collection of needle felting supplies and kits to choose from for classes. Needle felting is a great techniques to use on a wide range of different projects. Add a design to a pair of jeans, a jacket or a handbag.
Wool Appliqué Geranium Basket

This is a brand new pattern and kit from Ewe~nique Creations. This is a beautiful piece that can be framed, made into a wonderful pillow or as the center of a large wall hanging. Kits will be made available for this class.
Wool Appliqué

Dorothy will teach you what you need to know about wool appliquéing in this class, the kinds of thread to use, the different techniques used etc. You can pick any of the projects we have and let Dorothy work with you on it.
Toothbrush Rug

This is the rug that Aunt Philly taught here at Hannah’s in September. We now have two resident rug teachers here at Hannah’s. Rosa and Mary Kay were students of Aunt Philly when she taught her class here. They have taught it to other Hannah’s employees and are ready to teach others. The class is limited to 10, so you need to sign up early.

House Quilt
Build Your House Quilt in 3 months 3-sessions Teacher: Dorothy

This is an intermediate quilt you need to know the basic quilting skills. This is a great class to learn about how color works in your quilting project. The first class will be selecting all the different colors for the quilt. You will also do some cutting. The second class will be the sewing [building] with homework for the last class . The final class will be putting on the
borders.
Beginners Quilting

You will learn the correct method of rotary cutting, piecing, and finishing your quilt. You will be making a sampler quilt with Rail Fence, Nine Patch, Nine Patch Variations, Log Cabin, Friendship Star and Flying Geese blocks.
Kinetic Energy Quilt Class
